Readers might also be interested in, a website launched last week that shares the lessons being learned in 11 community colleges that have developed competency-based certificates or degrees. Each of the colleges started with what they had in place in developing their CBE approaches. Four of the colleges launched their CBE programs in fall 2013, with almost 250 students enrolled. Six more launched in spring 2014. By fall term 2014 there were over 3,000 students enrolled in these CBE programs. As their programs mature, they will be revising their processes based on what they learn.

I agree! CBEinfo is a great resource. We’ve got it listed in the right hand column on the higher ed blog because we really want our readers to check it out!
